Website. To start with, a couple of notes.
"Reredos" is a Latin word referring to the Icon screen placed
behind the altar in a traditionally designed Western Orthodox Church.
In Spanish, the word is "retablo". So this website is part
Eastern, part Western, because Orthodoxy is the Catholic faith
(universal). You may find some pages still say "Let Us Attend", and that's getting fixed. Two other things: 1) This is not a jurisdictional website. I don't see a reason to write this defending a particular jurisdiction, because there are a few good ones, and I am not into the whole "my guys are the best" thing. I will not answer jurisdictional questions, so don't bother writing. I may talk more about my jurisdiction in the future. For now, I see no reason to. This website has never been jurisdictional, because the truth should be cross-jurisdictional. I have, however, argued against certain cults and groups based on my experiences with them. I won't debate that either. 2) This is no longer an apologetics website. I have no time to answer every Roman apologist who thinks I am a schismatic. They tend to say the same things over and over, and I have responded already on the link "Answering the Heterodox" below. As I wrote here, if it is not on the website, I can talk to you about it. On Orthodoxy A page with old and new information about the Orthodox Church. Gives definitions on the Church, as well as gives useful material, especially about traditional Orthodoxy. Western Orthodoxy Information about Western Orthodox services, tradition, and history. Answering the Heterodox The main page for Apologetics articles, most of which were kept from the Let Us Attend website. Answering questions about heterodoxy in its various forms, such as Roman Catholic and Protestant claims to the being the True Faith. |
